Nutrition really matters in the management of Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.

Nutritional Therapy for IBD's Patient Pathway is a resource to support healthy diet and lifestyle change in patients with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. It was developed as a unique collaborative effort between medical leaders in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and the patient community. Here you will find information, support, guidance, community, ideas, and recipes. Patient Pathway is built around An Option for Every Patient, a patient-centric approach that seeks to match each patient with the dietary approach that best fits their needs and interest. You play an active role in your dietary therapy.

Uncertain about Food?

We understand the complexity of developing and maintaining a positive relationship with food when suffering from the symptoms of Inflammatory Bowel Disease. At times, it may feel like food is something to be feared or avoided, but that is not the answer. We want to help restore that healthy relationship with food again, so that you can work your way back to a well-balanced diet of healthy foods while at the same time feeling well again.

Help Us to Help Others

To those of you experiencing hardship, we ask nothing more of you than that you focus on the wellbeing of yourself and your loved ones. ❤

Nutritional Therapy for IBD is a lean and efficient 501c3 nonprofit organization. What we lack in deep pockets, we compensate for in people and relationships: our committed patient and caregiver volunteers, our knowledgeable medical advisors, our partner organizations, and our friends in business donate their time and services to help us succeed. We do a lot with what we have, but we could do more with your support.

Please consider a donation to help us to continue this work. Every contribution helps us spread awareness of dietary options and provide innovative resources that aid in the implementation of dietary therapy for Inflammatory Bowel Disease.

Our volunteers are the most valuable asset we have. We can always use more help, in any size role. If you are interested in joining our team, please Contact Us to start the conversation.
