Instructions

  • Preheat the oven at 350°F (177°C).
  • Cut squash in half, scoop out seeds and strings.
  • Place squash with cut side up in a covered pan.
  • Add a little water.
  • Bake for 30 - 50 minutes
  • When squash is done (soft), mash it, and add butter or honey.

*While IBD-AID lists winter squash as Phase I, spaghetti squash is listed in Phase 2. Thus, if using spaghetti squash, this recipe becomes Phase II.
