100 grams almond flour

½ tsp (2.5 ml) salt

¼ tsp (1.25 ml) sage

¼ tsp (1.25 ml) thyme

⅛ tsp (0.625 ml) cayenne pepper

59 ml oil

3 TBSP (45 ml) cold water

coarse salt, sesame seeds or poppy seeds*

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • Mix all ingredients except coarse salt.
  • Form into a ball and refrigerate until firm (about 15 minutes).
  • Roll dough flat, sprinkle with coarse salt, and lightly press in.
  • Cut into squares.
  • Bake for 15 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
  • Cool.
