1 cup ground sunflower seeds

½ cup grated raw carrots

½ cup finely chopped celery

2 TBSP onion, chopped

1 TBSP parsley, chopped

¼ cup tomato sauce

1 egg

1 TBSP oil

¼ tsp salt

½ tsp basil

1 TBSP chopped green pepper

84 grams grated raw carrots

50 grams finely chopped celery

2 TBSP (30 ml) onion, chopped

1 TBSP (15 ml) parsley, chopped

60 ml tomato sauce

1 egg

1 TBSP (15 ml) oil

¼ tsp (1.25 ml) salt

½ tsp (2.5 ml) basil

1 TBSP (15 ml) chopped green pepper

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients and pat into a 9-inch (23-cm) square pan.
  • Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 20-25 minutes.
  • Cut into squares. Can eat in lieu of burgers.
